Transform your school’s approach to bilingualism with an in-person workshop led by the YoSoy team. Our mission is to cultivate spaces for emotional connection that deepen literacy skills, and this 60-minute session brings that vision directly to your educators. We delve into the complex sociolinguistic theory of our book series, providing a dedicated space for teachers to discuss practical implementation with the authors. Together, we will explore how to use our cultural materials, including illustrations and multiple literacies, to empower students shaped by multiple cultures. This session is designed to inspire reflection on language and its social meanings, ensuring your staff is equipped to bridge the gap "between here and there."
Cancellation Policy
At Yo Soy, we value the connection and time we share with our community of educators and families. To ensure we can provide the best experience for everyone, we have established the following guidelines: 1. Rescheduling & Cancellations We know life happens! If you need to change your plans: - The 24-Hour Rule: Please reschedule or cancel your session at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. This allows us to offer the slot to another family or educator. - How to change: You can easily manage your booking through your confirmation email or by logging into your account on our site. 2. Late Arrivals - Virtual Sessions: If you are running a few minutes late, please let us know! We will wait in the virtual room for 15 minutes. After that, the session will be considered a "no-show" to respect the instructor's schedule. - In-Person Sessions: For school visits, we appreciate a quick heads-up via email or phone if there is a delay at the entrance or front desk. 3. Our Commitment to Flexibility - We understand that emergencies and "life moments" occur, especially when working with children. If you miss the 24-hour window due to an unforeseen emergency, please reach out to us directly at [Your Email]. We are always happy to listen and find a solution that works for both of us. 4. Refunds - Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future session. - Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are generally non-refundable, but we are happy to discuss a one-time rescheduling credit for exceptional circumstances.
